Job Overview
The Sustainability Analyst role will support with all aspects of sustainability data collection and reporting for global locations and is responsible for analyzing data and trends related to environmental, social, governance, sustainability practices, conducting analyses of impact, and assessing the overall sustainability performance of the Company. Candidates should be able to develop methods to measure the impact of the Company’s sustainability efforts, review data and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Key Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments, including impact analyses, to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to integrate sustainability practices into daily operations.
  • Research and stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and trends related to sustainability.
  • Ensure reporting of sustainability reports for regulatory compliance and public disclosure to key governmental agencies both domestically and globally.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to communicate sustainability performance to stakeholders. 
  • Create reports for Executive Management, internal partners and global stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives.
  • Engage with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. 
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainability policies and procedures. 
  • Assist internal and external auditors in their performance of audits and reviews. 
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve tools, processes and systems to automate & accelerate program performance.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree. Major in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2-4 years of related experience with sustainability and carbon emissions reporting, accounting, internal audit, data analysis, or a related area.
  • Familiarity with greenhouse gas policy requirements, sustainability/climate reporting frameworks, and other standards.
  • Interest in how corporations can implement environmental, social and governance programs, e.g. climate action, social impact, business diversity
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills 
  • Analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail, perseverance in finding solutions to challenges
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual who will make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively
  • Team-oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved
  • Strong presentation skills, including ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
