In addition, your customer-facing experience will be instrumental in managing relationships with external stakeholders and facilitating binding customer offtake agreements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help drive Peak's commercial functions, assess market dynamics and execute strategic projects that align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their project pipelines, product needs and preferences and collaborate with internal teams to structure and execute customer offtake agreements.
  • Help support government relations and identify, assess, and secure government grants and incentives to support strategic initiatives and R&D projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering and Legal to assess strategic fit, conduct due diligence, and execute strategic transactions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks and provide insights to inform strategic planning processes.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in consulting or investment banking, with a focus on financial analysis, strategic advisory, and transaction execution.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, DCF analysis, LBO modeling).
  • Experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships, with a demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Knowledge of government grants, incentives, and funding programs, with experience in identifying, applying for, and securing government funding opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
