Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:- Ensure product is moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
- Assemble product onto pallets, racks or storage area safely and appropriately meeting food and employee safety guidelines
- Connect and disconnect batteries from Charges and forklifts, utilizing PPE as trained.
- Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanning inventory equipment on every single pallet movement.
- Maintain FIFO principles unless directed via pick ticket note or email from sales
- Load/unload precool tunnels appropriately as training to ensure proper cooling results
- Maintain Forklift Maintenance Log
- Maintain and clean designated rooms
- Ensure that all shipping and/or receiving documents and functions are completed accurately, at time of occurrence and in full to include signatures and time stamps
- Check inbound/outbound shipment for accuracy, to include receiving inspects data logs, load sheets and all documentation required for shipping and receiving transactions
- Count quantities accurately during receiving, repacking, transfers, palletizing, shipping, physicals, and any other time that an inventory transaction occurs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and peers, both verbal and written
- Must possess good organizational skills and be capable of prioritizing time and tasks appropriately
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency scanning devices
- FAMOUS software experience is a benefit
- Basic math skills
- 1-2 years forklift experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by the needs of the business.
- Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in accordance to Employee Handbook Policies.
- Ability to meet all safety requirements and/or pass a drug and alcohol test (Safety Sensitive positions, only).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- FAMOUS software experience
- Bilingual – English/Spanish
