We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client's dynamic team.Job Description:As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's legal team in handling personal injury cases. You will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception to settlement or trial.Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive case investigations, including gathering and analyzing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist in drafting and filing legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information and exchange case-related updates.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant precedents and statutes.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witnesses, and trial binders.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and attorney-client privilege.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
