Senior Litigation Paralegal

The Law Office of John Redmann is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our growing office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters for a well-respected law firm. As a litigation paralegal, you will be responsible for managing case files once they enter our Litigation Department, communicating with clients and attorneys, conducting research, and drafting legal documents and correspondence. You will also play an important part to the knowledge and growth of Jr. Paralegals in the department.
A successful Litigation Paralegal Candidate will possess superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude and professional work environment. Compensation is $55,000 yearly but commensurate with experience and the possibility of an annual performance bonus.
Compensation:$55,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:- Conduct legal and factual research to support cases
- Perform thorough records research for litigation matters
- Identify and analyze relevant judicial decisions, legal articles, and codes
- Organize and validate information accurately
- Prepare detailed written reports for cases
- Summarize and review various legal documents and proceedings
- Manage cases efficiently and ensure timely progress
- Communicate and meet with clients as needed
- Draft a variety of legal documents such as briefs and agreements
- Edit legal forms and documents for precision
- Maintain organized databases and case files
- Stay updated on new laws and regulations
- Assist in case planning, development, and management
- Prepare for and support during trials
- Manage office tasks and deadlines effectively
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing litigation processes and preparing for trials.
- Attention to detail is a key requirement for this role.
- Effective multitasking, time management, and project prioritization skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a mandatory skill.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
- Previous experience in Personal Injury law is preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish would be advantageous.
- Ability to provide training and guidance to Junior Paralegals is a plus.

We currently have offices in Gretna, Louisiana, and Metairie, Louisiana, and are looking to expand into the New Orleans Metro area shortly.
