Job DescriptionJob Description

SAGE Rental Services is looking for a Driver to join our team. The Driver will be based out of our Pasadena, TX office and will be responsible for the safe transportation of industrial and commercial equipment to and from various customer job locations and branch stores.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): 

  • Local or long-distance hauling of equipment and supplies
  • Loading, unloading and securing equipment
  • Following DOT standards/guidelines at all times
  • Operating safely within high-traffic or congested city zones and in small areas

Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL certification
  • DOT Physical Examination (Medical card)
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests
  • Possess knowledge of and/or previous experience in driving delivery trucks, towing tandem axle utility trailers and towable construction equipment
  • Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment and with customers
  • Ability to lift to 50+ pounds
  • Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty or on site

Preferred:

  • Three years driving experience, with verifiable over-the-road experience operating combination commercial vehicles​
