Asset Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Gain a general understanding of oil and gas management; and perform the administrative duties associated with management operations.
  • Support Mineral Managers, as well as provide answers to trust officers when needed.
  • Process divisions and/or transfer orders when received. (See “Division Order Processing” procedures.)
  • Research land, tract, prospect, unit, field, and well information, i.e. SONRIS and/or DrillingInfo on ENVERUS.
  • Monitor and review revenue and expense information for clients through Vision, i.e. prepare monthly and/or quarterly statements for Property Manager to review and present expense invoices to Property Manager for approval.
  • Maintain “Interested Party” (Payor/Contractor) contact information in Vision.
  • Contact oil/gas companies regarding address/title changes and monitor the status until requests have been completed for new and existing AMM and trust clients. (See “Change of Address” procedures.)
  • Create and maintain well and tract/asset information in Vision. (See “Add Well, Well Deck, Tract_Asset” procedures.)
  • Process lease and other transactional documents alongside the Mineral Managers.
  • Built/Repair/Maintain owner inventories.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and balance workload to complete multiple assignments within time constraints.
  • Ability to apply analytical and interpretive skills to problem solving, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service to both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
  • Proficient with standard concepts, procedures, protocols, and methodologies within the oil and gas field.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly, and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.
  • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products, especially Excel.
