Green Light Distribution is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator that will provide comprehensive support to the HR department, assisting with recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting employees and HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial phone screenings.
  • Prepare and process new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing information and assistance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the resolution of employee issues and conflicts, escalating to HR management when necessary.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Coordinate training sessions and development programs for employees.
  • Track employee training and development progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1, OSHA logs, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Assist with internal audits and maintain HR records for compliance purposes.
  • Support HR projects, such as employee surveys, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Relevant Work Experience and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in HRIS software ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar administrative role.
  • HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

- Must be at least 21 years old.
