We’re seeking a sharp Legal Assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and keep the office running smoothly. You’ll work with the team to prepare a variety of legal documents and handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. Compensation:

$32,500+ yearly

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation of various legal documents
  • Preparing forms and form documents
  • Office correspondence tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with county offices, attorneys
  • Correspondence with clients to schedule appointments and similar items with our practice management system
  • Reviewing and replying to clients and other emails
  • Transcribing dictations
  • Communicating with the team to ensure accurate record keeping, managing agendas, and client meetings
  • Monitoring Attorney and office schedules
Qualifications:

  • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Must be able to track and prepare basic daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills
  • Mac OS (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) preferred
