Day to day as An Associate Director Surgical Technical ExpertAs the Full Time Associate Director Surgical Technical Expert at Beacon Therapeutics (USA) Inc, you will play a pivotal role in training and supporting retina surgeons in the administration of groundbreaking gene therapies to patients in clinical trials. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that investigator site needs are met promptly, compliantly, and with a site-centric approach. What matters mostTo excel in the role of Full Time Associate Director Surgical Technical Expert at Beacon Therapeutics (USA) Inc, candidates must possess a diverse skill set. Essential skills include demonstrated experience in retina surgical procedures, proficiency in utilizing surgical instruments and equipment, and proven expertise in supporting subretinal injections. The successful candidate will showcase global experience in operating room settings, the ability to assess customer needs and tailor approaches accordingly and demonstrate effective territory management skills. Additionally, the role requires expertise in ophthalmic training, stakeholder influence, project leadership, problem-solving abilities, and experience in mid/late-stage clinical development.
Strong communication skills, knowledge of legal and healthcare compliance policies, and a proactive approach to driving solutions are essential for this position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Demonstrated Retina surgical procedure experience including knowledge and utilization of instruments and equipment.
- Proven experience and training supporting sub retinal injections
- Global experience in operating room environment
- Global experience in assessing customer/site needs and appropriately tailoring approaches
- within stated guidelines
