Looking to be part of a growing successful child care center?  Looking to make a difference in the world and contribute while being part of a great positive fun team. As a school-age teacher at the Transformational Education Adventure Center, you will be part of a fast-paced business while making a difference in the lives of children and enjoying it at the same time. We are looking for individuals with a long-term work history in previous employments. A person who is involved in their community as we do community service projects as a company throughout the year is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, prioritize duties, pay attention to detail, communicate well, follow office procedures, Human Teaching experience of at least 3 years is desired.

Hours - during the school year -split schedule -6:30 am -9:30 am  and 2:30 pm-6:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise children attending the program.

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of a daily program that will meet the needs of the children
    in attendance including help with homework for K-6 the grade

  • Monitor children to ensure their health, safety, and physical well-being; including dropping off and
    picking up children from nearby schools.

  • Assist with the development and coordination of a calendar for program activities and events designed
    to compliment student learning and enrichment

  • Participate in regular staff meetings and assist with in-service training as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enjoy working with children

  • Prior experience working with children  is a plus

  • Teach languages to children

  • Ability to communicate effectively 

  • Exceptional organization skills 

  • Clean driving record

  • Mandatory hours availability -2:30- 6:30 pm daily +
