AAMCI is recruiting individuals who are experienced with HUD Section 8 and Tax credit LIHTC programs to add to our Certification Team at a 500-unit property located in Dayton, OH.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Creekside Townhomes is an affordable housing community with HUD Section 8 rent subsidy as well as Tax Credits LIHTC.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Verify income, assets, household composition and allowable expenses
  • Prepare initial, annual, and interim certifications for assigned residents maintaining full compliance with HUD Section 8 and Tax Credit LIHTC regulations
  • EIV record keeping and follow-up
  • Maintain resident files in accordance with AAMCI policy and procedures
  • Data entry and correspondence

Qualifications necessary for success:

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Minimum of 1 year HUD Section 8 certification experience (required)
  • Tax Credit LIHTC certification experience (preferred)
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Ability to calmly handle difficult situations
  • Work and interact effectively with others
  • Yardi Voyager experience (preferred)
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or other affordable housing regulatory certification (preferred)

Benefits include medical insurance, company paid employee dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability, and life insurance.

Benefits also include Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and a 401(k) plan. In the 401(k) plan, employees are eligible after completing one year of employment and reaching an entrance date of January 1 or July 1. Company match employee contributions up to 5%, and employees are vested 100% from the first contribution.
