We are looking for a Director of Carrier Sales who will be responsible for developing a net-new prospective customer pipeline of business across a common set of T-Mobile existing customer and target accounts within the USA & Canada. Working in partnership with the Social Mobile GTM team, your key focus will be to increase Social Mobile's indirect T-Mobile carrier revenue. Working hand in hand with the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for building and managing a core revenue stream through developing and maturing the T-Mobile Partner eco-system, managing sell-through and distribution agreements, facilitating partner engagements with T-Mobile Partner Manager/sales teams and internal sales teams, training and enabling field sales teams, and creating a yearly strategic plan.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish Social Mobile brand visibility within T-Mobile sales teams focused on Enterprise Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Healthcare verticals.
  • Train and enable T-Mobile field sales teams on Social Mobile’s key product differentiators, TCO/ROI benefits, and combined partnership joint value prop.
  • Build relationships with T-Mobile management and selling teams.
  • Build and execute a territory sales plan, including a strategy for key accounts.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in partnership with T-Mobile sales team.
  • Accurately forecast Pipeline, Upside and Commit revenue weekly.
  • Represent Social Mobile as the complete portfolio expert.
  • Manage all distribution and partner agreements.
  • Employees will be required to adhere to Social Mobile's information security policies and procedures

 

Requirements:


  • 5+ years’ of Telecommunications experience, preferably with previous experience working at T-Mobile
  • 5+ years’ experience managing partner programs, ideally with device manufacturers
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Travel expected (30-50%)

Preference for:

  • Experience selling private label and/or purpose-built hardware solutions.
  • MEDDIC Sales Methodology training or certifications
