Fabricator/Assembler

Role Summary/Purpose:

Fabricators are responsible for adhering to the production schedule, assembling and fabricating stainless steel components according to specifications, and performing checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

Fabricator Job Duties:

• Operate equipment for basic metal forming: CNC Press Brake, CNC Rolling, Edge Deburring, and Material Handling.
• Basic set up of tooling and equipment required for manufacturing operation. Operate metal forming production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to set up and run equipment safely and within standard production efficiency standards.
• First and last article inspection of product or subassemblies for functionality and quality prior to sending to the next operation.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products with team leaders and management.
• Work with assembly teams to meet customer demands.
• Maintain accurate inventory of components.
• Follow production schedules to meet production goals and customer satisfaction.
• Start up and shut down of equipment.
• Maintains a neat and clean work area.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Dependability
• High School Diploma or GED required.
