Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician specializing in motor controls and light controls to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires proficiency in bending rigid conduit, programming and troubleshooting PLCs, and a strong understanding of electrical schematics.

Responsibilities:


  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in an industrial environment.
  • Perform electrical wiring for motor controls, light controls, and other industrial equipment.
  • Bend and install rigid conduit to meet project specifications and electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
Requirements:


  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, with a focus on motor controls and light controls.
  • Proficiency in bending and installing rigid conduit.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • Veteran
  • 3 or more years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
