Edovate Learning Corp. is currently seeking innovative and creative current or former social studies educators and curriculum writers to remotely develop Middle School level lessons. Experience teaching American History is a plus. Each lesson includes the following components: worktext, instructor guide, and digital content. This position is a contract position that is compensated based on a fixed development fee. This position starts immediately and will go through approximately June 2024.

Responsibilities

• Write lesson material based on a set of given writers' guidelines, templates, and acceptance criteria
• Develop materials for lessons for both student-facing and instructor-facing texts that are aligned to given lesson objectives
• Edit or revise content to incorporate feedback from reviewers and internal staff, as needed
• Develop chapter review lessons, as needed
• Manage your own workflow within deadlines to ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Communicate effectively and regularly with team members and internal staff via project management software (ClickUp), email, and telephone (as needed)
• Attend any training and meetings as necessary

• Experience teaching Social Studies in middle school
• Experience developing Social Studies lessons/chapters
• Experience developing Project-Based Learning activities
• Ability to write multiple Social Studies chapters per week

Compensation: $175 per completed chapter
