Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision the primary responsibility of the Planner is to accurately and timely interpret customer purchase orders according to blue prints or other specifications and plan job ticket travelers for production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential functions are the core duties or tasks that the employee will perform. List the duties that are central to performing the most basic functions of the job.

  1. Read and interpret customer purchase orders and verify information is correct and complete
  2. Plans basic and routine jobs based on purchase order, blue prints, and engineering document requirements.
  3. Process production changes to job ticket travelers.
  4. Follow and apply customer notes, planning notes, pop-ups and customer clauses within planning software
  5. Research and understand engineering specification, material element composition and meeting NDT process sequence requirements.
  6. Perform Contract Review upon completion of planning a job ticket.
  7. Adhere to safety regulations.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate, read and write in English. Ability to follow precise instructions. Must have good vision. Detail oriented; has limited knowledge and ability ability to analyze and problem solve purchase orders, blueprint notes and specifications with limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

ITAR REQUIREMENT:

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
