Position: Registered Nurse Pool (Per Diem or Contract)
Location: Various rural hospitals throughout Washington
Employment Type: Per Diem / 13-week Contract
Overview: We are now accepting applications for our RN pool. Pick up a few per diem shifts close to home, or work a full 13-week contract in a WA hospital. Per diem shifts and contract assignments are available in a variety of departments including MedSurg (Acute Care), Emergency Room, Surgery, OB, Home Health/Hospice, and Long Term Care. Once in the pool, nurses will receive specific information about available shifts or assignments in their area of specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in MedSurg, Emergency Room, OB, Home Health, or Long Term Care settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (WA is a compact nursing license state).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Complete immunization records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and shifts.
