Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProvide guests with the highest possible standards in service. It is essential that you convey aspirit of caring, friendly and professional service to every guest
Check assigned station before, during, and after service for proper setup andcleanliness
Greet guests in a timely manner, inform guests of any specials or promotions
Every server is responsible for the full knowledge, sale and service of all food and beverageitems
Settle checkout at end of shift
Handle cash, debit and credit card transactions
Proper cash handling procedures (such as never assume the change is your tip)
Ensure special requests for guests are executed. Record and input orders of guests accurately, repeating the order back to the guests as necessary
Maintain an organized dining room/bar/kitchen area
Communicate well with the entire team
Know server duties and how to do them promptly, correctly, and pleasantly (opening and closingchecklist will be provided)
Capable of cooperating with management, captains, and your fellow employees and maintain a goodteam attitude
Input food and beverage orders through POS system promptly and accurately
Run and present food and beverage within restaurant standards
Check with the guests for overall satisfaction
Clear and reset tables
Present check to the guest
