Work Schedule:
We offer flexible full or part time options. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat.
Pay Structure:
IFI provides Waco Ministry Leaders with training in personal fundraising, enabling them to build a support team to cover their salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and prayer needs. The salary ranges from $25,709 to $80,000, depending on experience and contingent on funding.
Waco Ministry Leader Benefits:
Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and devotion days, along with health coverage (medical, dental, vision). A staff care team is also available to support the Waco Ministry Leader's mental, social, and spiritual well-being.
About the Area and Responsibilities of a Waco Ministry Leader
Waco might be known for the place where Dr Pepper was originated, but it's also the home of Baylor University. Baylor is the largest Baptist university in the world with more than 17,000 students. It's also the oldest running school in Texas and was founded before Texas was even a state On top of that, there are more than 1,000 international students at Baylor, which makes it a great place for international student ministry. This position is part of the Waco ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
As a Waco Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support.

To be considered, you must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The role requires a person of strong character, committed to extending God's love globally by equipping volunteers to effectively communicate about God's love across cultures.
Education/Experience for a Waco Ministry Leader
- Proven experience in ministry, training, and mobilization is required
- Cross-cultural experience is preferred
- A college degree is preferred
