Picker/Packer

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-orientedPicker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution center and possess strong organizational skills. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize picking lists or electronic scanning devices to locate and pick items from designated locations in the warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy by verifying product codes, quantities, and quality before packing orders for shipment.
• Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation.
• Label packages with the appropriate shipping information and ensure they are properly routed for delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret product codes and labels.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
