Position Summary: 

NGEN is a rapidly growing MSP (Managed Services Provider) technology company. We are based out of Lanham, MD, and we service the DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio market. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Inside Sales Support Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing sales support, creating quotes, and working closely with our vendors and clients. This position is a high-visibility, exempt position, which provides primary sales support for all company activities. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Create and deliver accurate and timely quotes and proposals for clients and prospects.
  • Work with vendors to obtain pricing and product information and create quotes.
  • Follow up on leads and quotes to drive sales and close deals.
  • Collaborate with our technical team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep accurate records of all sales activity in our CRM system.
  • Respond to Sales emails and phone calls/inquiries.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales support or a related role in the technology industry preferably with a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
  • Experience creating and delivering accurate and timely quotes to clients and prospects.
  • Strong communication (verbal and writing), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, helpful, but not required.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Two to three years’ experience in a similar position, or combination of education and experience, encompassing various aspects of position.
  • Previous experience working in a professional business environment.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, sales position.

 

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated proposal writing experience and ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude for sales quoting and proposal software (i.e., QuoteWerks), and business management software, preferably Autotask (similar programs: ConnectWise, Remedy).
