Branch Manager

Position Summary:
The Branch Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with the Customer Service, Service (Bench and Field), and Operations Leaders to insure alignment of common best practices across the organization. Primary responsibility is to take care of the needs of the branch operations and daily activities and needs of customers. This role will include responsibilities such as the booking and invoicing of orders, shipping and receiving of goods, and coordination of service (both field and bench repair) activities. Some key priorities of this position are as follows:
- Service Coordination (both field and bench repair)
- Customer Needs – Quotes, Orders, and Information Request – as received via phone, email, and text
- Inventory Control and Monitoring
- Assisting Account Manager Request (quotes, orders, SAP information)
- Shipping/Receiving
Key Accountabilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support:
- Provide A+ Customer Experience via phone and email interactions
- Receive and place Purchase Orders as provided by Customers
- Alert sales manager to problems with customer accounts
Inventory management goals:
- Follow purchasing policy guidelines, suggest improvements
- Manage order processing procedures (un-confirmed’ s, confirmations, directs)
- Schedule/complete cycle counts to reflect correct item inventory
Service Coordination:
- Log, Track, and Process Bench Repair
- Coordinate with local Bench Repair Technicians to optimize workflow and efficiency insuring all repairs are completed in timely manner
- Assist in the development and deployment of repair delivery and pickup routes
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Empower coworkers to new knowledge levels concerning product and purchasing with the goal of cross training your inside people for various tasks.
- Be active in achieving customer service excellence in your branch through training and leadership.
- Manage branch costs where possible, including inventory that will not affect service levels and overtime that is unnecessary.
- Validate branch personnel are on time and working to the set Air Power standards
- Lead and assist in setting min/max stock levels on the SAP system for your location – in coordination with High Point inventory Control/Purchasing team.
