Position Overview:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse/RN at Evergreen Recovery's Drug Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in the comprehensive care and treatment of our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety, comfort, and overall health of our residents throughout their recovery journey. Your expertise, empathy, and dedication will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those seeking to overcome addiction.


Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.

- Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status.

- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Assist in the management of withdrawal symptoms and provide emotional support to patients during detoxification.

- Monitor vital signs, record patient information, and maintain accurate medical records.

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and recovery processes.

- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.

- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required.


Qualifications:

- Valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California.

- Valid and current Licensed Registered (RN) license in California.

- Previous experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate, nonjudgmental, and patient-centered approach to care.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in addiction treatment and nursing care.
