Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant at RELIVE plays a dual role, providing direct support to both the Registered Nurse and the Front Desk Coordinator. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, ensuring a seamless client experience. The Medical Assistant must represent the RELIVE brand, maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Support:
- Perform blood draws according to lab instructions and state guidelines.
- Assist the Registered Nurse with client care, including preparation for hormone replacement therapy and post-treatment follow-ups.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis, infection control techniques, and universal precautions.
- Liaise with the medical team to participate in shared decision-making and ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with client callbacks to address questions and provide necessary follow-up.
- Accurately document client interactions and treatment details, submitting information to the Admin team for EHR updates.
- Monitor and manage clinical inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are in stock.

Front Desk Support:
- Greet and assist clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Assist the Front Desk Coordinator with scheduling appointments, managing the online booking system, and handling clients as they check-in and check-out.
- Provide clients with information about services, ensuring they understand their care plans and upcoming appointments.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, managing client records and payments, assisting with booking appointments, as well as ensuring an organized flow of treatment and follow up to stay up-to-date on the requirements of certain therapies.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and coordinating with the appropriate team members.

Compliance and Professionalism:
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Follow state guidelines and standards for medical assistant practice.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the RELIVE brand in all interactions with clients, staff, and external partners.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate attitude and dedication to providing exceptional client care.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with both medical staff and administrative personnel.
- Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised.
