Summary

Minimum of two years experience
CPR, First Aid
Fingerprints or ability to be fingerprinted

Duties

Teach basic concepts like math, reading, writing, shapes, and time. Also teach social skills, personal skills, and emotional skills.
Help children develop the foundation they need to succeed in elementary school.
Create aga-appropriate lesson plans based on school curriculums and values. Tailor lessons to meet students' different needs and learning capabilities.
Observe students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Assess student projects and develop learning objectives based on those assessments.
Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress. Meet with parent periodically to discuss concerns.
Uses songs, stories, and games to motivate children to participate . Inspire trust in students.
Develop and enforce classroom rules to teach children proper behavior.
Supervise children outside of the classroom, such as during lunchtime or recess.
Provide learning materials and resources.
Should have excellent knowledge of child development, the latest education theories and practices, and be creative and artistic.

Requirements

Teacher Certification in Missouri
Minimum of two year experience
