The Office Manager is highly organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills. Manager will lead a team of 5-6 Insurance Agents. They will oversee Customer service and Sales Department. They will direct, motivate and lead the team to achieve specific goals. They Will interact with customers and participate in supporting the service team. This position requires a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and maturity. Naturally driven to coach, mentor, and build strong working teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff activities to ensure Agency is on track to achieve stated goals
- Manage and lead employees to include Hiring, firing and developing staff
- Establish and monitor procedures
- Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
- Analyze and monitor internal processes
- Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
- Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and bookings
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Review and approve office supply acquisitions
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Must have prior experience as an Insurance Agency Office manager with a track record of success
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Prior Allstate experience is a major plus
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly; time management critical
- Must possess the ability to delegate authority and responsibility
- Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives and the ability to work within a team
- Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, and assessment with the ability to make good business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Must be P&C / Life licensed in the State of California
- Speak Spanish fluently with the ability to read and write at a proficient level.
