As a Product Content Writer at Homemakers, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling and informative product descriptions that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique selling points of our products. You will also be responsible for writing SEO-friendly content for a full suite of evolving needs (blogs, lifestyle, email, SMS, etc.) that adhere to our brand guidelines and enhance our online visibility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for writing, and experience using AI tools to enhance their creative writing abilities.

Product Content Writer Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions for a wide range of products sold on our website.
• Research and understand each product's features, specifications, and target audience to effectively communicate its value proposition.
• Optimize product descriptions for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and phrases to improve search engine rankings.
• Write copy for our various communication channels that fit the needs of multiple customer segments to include email, SMS, blogs, in-store signage, etc.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all collateral.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and identify opportunities for content optimization and improvement.
• Utilize AI writing tools to supplement creativity and productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices, industry trends, and content marketing strategies.
• Proofread and edit product descriptions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
• Create relevant copy per customer segment and own the Homemakers editorial calendar.
• Work closely with the product management team to obtain necessary information and updates on new products and features.

Product Content Writer Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a content writer.
• Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
• Experience with SEO and knowledge of keyword research and optimization techniques.
• Experience with writing for multiple customer segments and/or personas.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent research skills and ability to quickly grasp complex product information.
