Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPremier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a part-time Physician Assistant to join us at our Exton, PA office. This position is in support of Knee/Hip, and Shoulder/Elbow surgeons.Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30, Friday 8:00am-1:30pm.

The Physician Assistant Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Obtaining patient information and perform assessments
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures
  • Handles paperwork for pre-operative visits, sees patients for post-operative care, and administers Viscosupplementation injections.
  • Consult directly with physician to assess the patient's condition and treatment options
  • Ensure that medical charts and administrative paperwork is updated/completed
  • Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
  • Monitor patients and administers medications according to division policy.

The Physician Assistant Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant preferred. New graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Unrestricted Pennsylvania License
  • Graduate of accredited program for Physician Assistant required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Exceptional customer facing verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal constituents.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Athena or other EMR proficiency highly preferred
