A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC APPRENTICE - INSTALLATIONS
In this entry-level skilled trade position, you're ready to learn, dive in, and absorb all things necessary to enhance your installation career. You ask questions, observe, and emulate our company values. When out in the field with experienced installers, you learn industry related tasks, as well as how to professionally interact with our residential and commercial clients.
Moving forward in this stable and essential industry, is your daily goal. You work hard, do what you are asked of, and pay close attention to your mentors. Interacting with fellow employees and clients is natural for you. As you expand your skill set and knowledge, you know you are going to love your long and thriving career
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC APPRENTICE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Mechanically inclined
- Driver's license with a good driving record
- Maintain schedule flexibility; able to work evenings and weekends
- Self-motivated to complete tasks within time constraints
- Own your own hand tools necessary to perform the job right
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions (ie cold, hot, dirty environment, cramped, on ladders etc).
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
