Job Site: Road Construction Site, Fort Meade, Florida
Pay Rate: To be discussed

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Able to control and coordinate the flow of traffic around road construction site.
  • Knowledge of using hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic.
  • Communicate with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct two-way traffic onto a single lane.
  • Inform the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.
  • Appropriately position warning and detour signs around construction sites, setting up barricades, traffic cones to cordon off certain areas.
  • Remove all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of construction work.
  • Assist the construction crew in the removal of rubble and debris.

Flagger Requirements:
  • Must be a Certified Flagger.
  • Proven experience working as a flagger.
  • Sound knowledge of state traffic regulations.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Exceptional observation and communication skills.
  • Must report to work on time.
  • Capable of performing tasks in various weather conditions.
