GENERAL OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with 5 years of proven experience in taking complex tasks and making them intuitive and easy to use. The ideal candidate will excel in end-to-end screen design ready for development, creating high-fidelity Figma prototypes, and executing UX design processes including wireframing, user journeys, and user flows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Embodies Metrc’s Leadership Principles
- Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our SaaS products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback.
- Analyze user data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and marketers, to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Utilize Pendo to track user behavior and measure the success of design changes.
- Maintain and improve design systems and style guides.
QUALIFICATIONS- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically with SaaS products.
- Proven experience with responsive design and creating user-centered design structures.
- Proficiency in Figma and Pendo.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of user testing methodologies and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cannabis industry experience.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
