GENERAL OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with 5 years of proven experience in taking complex tasks and making them intuitive and easy to use. The ideal candidate will excel in end-to-end screen design ready for development, creating high-fidelity Figma prototypes, and executing UX design processes including wireframing, user journeys, and user flows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Embodies Metrc’s Leadership Principles
• Design and implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces for our SaaS products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback.
• Analyze user data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and marketers, to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Utilize Pendo to track user behavior and measure the success of design changes.
• Maintain and improve design systems and style guides.

QUALIFICATIONS- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically with SaaS products.
• Proven experience with responsive design and creating user-centered design structures.
• Proficiency in Figma and Pendo.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of user testing methodologies and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cannabis industry experience.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
