As an Unarmed Security Guard with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Guard at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.


As a flex security officer, your hours would be 7:00 am-5:30 pm Monday through Friday as needed. You would work on days that individuals call out, are on vacation, or other there are regular shifts available. Some weeks may be 40 hours, other weeks may be 8 hours. Individuals working security in Greeley must obtain a Greeley Security Guard License immediately upon hire.


Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public
  • maintaining situational awareness at all times
  • conducting foot patrols
  • denying access to unauthorized personnel
  • securing your site and preventing vandalism and theft
  • screening and conducting metal detector wanding and bag checks to ensure no contraband is being brought to the site
  • assisting with emergencies and building evacuations
  • utilizing reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations
  • maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site
  • utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations
  • utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you
  • maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times
  • following SOPs at assigned site
  • following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This site pays $19.00/hour.


This is a W2 position. Employees working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits.


Colorado is an at-will employment state.


Hiring Process: Your application will consist of a resume and a Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Assessment. The STAR technique is a structured method used to answer behavioral interview questions by clearly outlining a Situation, Task, Action, and Result. This approach helps candidates provide comprehensive and well-organized responses that showcase their skills and experiences effectively, and helps candidates provide answers that are coherent, concise, and impactful, making it easier for interviewers to assess their competencies and fit for the role.

  • able to work the posted hours without modification

Physical Requirements:

  • able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
  • able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
  • able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
