Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSMS Staffing Inc. is Hiring Immediately Job Title: Packer StackerJob Location: North Chicago, ILJob Type: Temp to HirePay: $14.75Shift Structure: Monday-Thursday 4:00 pm -2:30 amAbout the Role:The job requires the ability to work in a hazardous environment. This position involves safety-sensitive functions and must meet all of the requirements of the Job Function Analysis.
General Responsibilities:
  • Pack containers in boxes.
  • Stack skids according to specifications.
  • Label containers according to specifications.
  • Load cans on lines.
  • Meet or exceed established production rates.
Other Duties:
  • Keep work areas clean and neat.
  • Follow all of the client's safety policies.
  • Execution of activities as assigned.
  • Follow all r responsibilities involving food safety, when required.
Qualifications:
  • Basic Math, writing, and reading skills needed.
  • Must have at least 2 years of forklift experience.
  • Minimally lift 50 lbs. frequently during shift.
