Job Summary

The janitor must have the knowledge and skill necessary to clean a large variety of surfaces and spaces including but not limited to tile and carpet flooring, toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, tables, counters, and windows. The janitor is also responsible for cleaning microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, and office spaces, and aids in maintaining the facility to comply with local health Ordinances. The janitor is also responsible for maintaining inventory of items needed to meet the previously listed task.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Mop floors, clean toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, tables and counter tops, stock supplies for rest rooms and lunchrooms.
  • Maintains offices including dusting, moping, vacuuming, and removal of trash and recyclables, meet local Health Ordinances, and to maintain good employee morale.
  • Must be able to coordinate cleaning schedules with other teams as to not interfere with ongoing operations.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
  • Understand and live by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.
Qualifications
  • Must know how to operate vacuum cleaner, washer, and dryer.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend English including written work instructions, and MSPI.
  • Must have prior janitorial experience.
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively.

Education & Professional Work Experience Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
