Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all administrative activities for assigned projects as directed
  • Directly responsible for invoicing and collections
  • Set-up jobs in ERP system
  • Maintain customer purchase orders
  • Support operations, purchasing, accounts payable, administration staff, and corporate accounting
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards, legal regulations, and alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns
  • Adhere to the Company values, policies, and procedures
  • Assemble QC packets from field work to give to the customer after completed jobs.
  • Assist with vendor pricing during estimating process.
  • Keep internal Bid logs up to date.
  • Coordinate and setup delivery/pickup for equipment/material for jobs.
  • Ensure all current jobs are in Thorpe’s timekeeping system

Qualification and Education Requirements


• 3-5 years of related work experience in a project- based environment
• Experience in financial analysis
• Intermediate to advanced skill level of Microsoft Excel required
• Detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with customers, suppliers, and staff at all levels
• Capable of assisting administrative team through planning, communication, and problem solving while enabling teamwork in a positive and productive work environment
Physical Requirements
• Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear, sitting for long periods of time.
• Repetitive movements by wrists and hands in performance of work.
• Rarely required to bend or lift more than 25 lbs
• The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.

The Company expects and requires all employees to observe and fulfill all safety responsibilities as outlined in workplace safety training, and actively work toward maintaining a safe workplace. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Regular attendance and punctuality are required of all employees.
