About the Role

The Industrial Automation Inside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Customer interaction via the telephone and email; respond and provide solutions to customers promptly
  • Provide immediate customer support to meet their needs; quotations, technical research, literature requests, manufacturer interaction, proposals, and expediting
  • Escalate backorders and customer requirements to maximize fill rates and exceed customer expectations
  • Provide technical feedback and design solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Interact with manufacturing partners and build sustainable relationships
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Assists Outside Sales in achieving the strategic goals of assigned accounts

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Industrial and/or Automation experience preferred
  • Infor and SAP experience preferred
  • Experience in the electrical distribution industry
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
