Job DescriptionJob Description

Introduction:

Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for connecting top talent with exciting career opportunities? Do you thrive on understanding client needs and delivering customized recruitment solutions that drive business success? If you’re an expert in building relationships and sourcing the right candidates, then our client has the perfect opportunity for you. We’re searching for a Recruitment Consultant (aka The Talent Matchmaker) to lead recruitment efforts, provide strategic staffing solutions, and help candidates and clients achieve their goals.

As the Recruitment Consultant at our client, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and engaging top-tier candidates while working closely with clients to ensure that their talent needs are met. This role is more than just filling positions—it’s about becoming a trusted advisor to both candidates and clients, building lasting relationships, and creating a perfect match between talent and opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:
  • Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles, ensuring a strong fit with client requirements. You’ll use a mix of job boards, social media, referrals, and networking to identify both active and passive candidates.
  • Client Consultation and Relationship Management:
    • Partner with clients to understand their talent needs, company culture, and long-term business goals. You’ll provide strategic recruitment advice and ensure that staffing solutions align with their hiring objectives.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and initial interviews to offer negotiation and onboarding. You’ll ensure that both clients and candidates have a seamless, positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Building Talent Pipelines:
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles. You’ll engage with candidates regularly, keeping them informed of opportunities and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Client Account Management and Growth:
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that recruitment services exceed expectations. You’ll identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling additional services, and expanding into new business areas.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive hiring practices. You’ll provide clients with insights into the talent market, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of recruitment services. You’ll collaborate with leadership, recruiters, and sales teams to meet client needs and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Recruitment Expertise: Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. You’re skilled at identifying and engaging top talent and have experience recruiting for various roles across industries.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Expertise in using a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking. You’re comfortable sourcing both active and passive candidates and are skilled at building a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate offers and facilitate a smooth hiring process for both clients and candidates.
  • Business Development and Account Growth: Experience managing client accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and expanding recruitment services into new areas of the client’s business.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and industry-specific hiring practices. You stay ahead of recruitment trends and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Humor: A great sense of humor, because even in the world of recruitment, we believe in creating a positive and enjoyable work environment. If you can balance client and candidate needs with a smile, you’re our kind of matchmaker.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience with a proven track record in recruitment or staffing is also valued.
  • Certifications in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition (e.g., AIRS, SHRM) are a plus. If you’ve completed recruitment or talent sourcing training, that’s an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, with a focus on managing the full recruitment lifecycle. You’ve successfully placed candidates in various industries and roles, from entry-level to senior leadership.
  • Proven success in managing client accounts, delivering recruitment solutions, and building strong candidate pipelines.
  • Experience working in fast-paced recruitment agencies, staffing firms, or talent acquisition teams is highly desirable.

Benefits

  • Health and Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with low co-pays and premiums.
  • Paid Time Off: Competitive vacation, sick leave, and 20 paid holidays per year.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible work schedules and telecommuting options.
  • Professional Development: Opportunities for training, certification reimbursement, and career advancement programs.
  • Wellness Programs: Access to wellness programs, including gym memberships, health screenings, and mental health resources.
  • Life and Disability Insurance: Life insurance and short-term/long-term disability coverage.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Confidential counseling and support services for personal and professional challenges.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Financial assistance for continuing education and professional development.
  • Community Engagement: Opportunities to participate in community service and volunteer activities.
  • Recognition Programs: Employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and milestones.
