Metal Finisher

Responsibilities:

• Finish parts efficiently and effectively, utilizing your prior experience to maximize productivity and contribute to meeting production targets
• Assist in training other employees finishing parts to high specifications
• Monitor finished parts in the area and be vigilant in identifying any noticeable quality or production concerns
• Conduct first piece inspections in the area, ensuring that they have the correct finish, producing items to the required specifications
• Share and suggest process improvement ideas to enhance productivity, quality, and overall operations in the area
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively when working with other team members

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator/Finisher or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of metalworking, specifically finishing processes and techniques
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and train entry-level team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Prior experience in process improvement and the ability to identify and implement changes
• Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions
• Ability to be a Self-starter
• Ability to lift objects as required in a manufacturing setting
