Now, we are on an unstoppable mission for an Associate Director of Marketing Intelligence to join our team. As an Associate Director, you will be challenged to derive, model, and interpret intelligence on the market, competitors, and investors.  In this role it is essential you will be proactive and work to identify key business challenges and relevant KPIs that will measure progress in surmounting those challenges.

The Associate Director will turn measurement into reporting and deliverables that will help shape client strategies and creative and engagement opportunities. The Associate Director is responsible for contributing to the creation of client measurement and data collection plans and providing analytic insight on market conditions and campaign measures against key performance indicators. You will be a data storyteller with the ability to derive and communicate actionable recommendations from the data. This role will be responsible for managing mid-level analyst resources, multiple client brands, and the ability to manage workflows and prioritize projects appropriately.

What You'll Do

Data Collection and Manipulation:

  • Creation of Performance Plans: Assists in the creation of performance measurement and data collection plans. 
  • Integrate and Assess Data: Integrates data from multiple channels and sources for use in a single analysis and accurately assesses the quality of data 
  • Client Success Measurement: Assist in the development of client success measurement plans.  
  • Tagging Implementation: Able to oversee and implement internal and 3rd party tagging set up for websites and other brand assets 
  • Understands Data: From a variety of online channels including websites, SEM, display, email, OLV, Native, Social, Content etc. and provides insight into behaviors of target audiences based on data analysis 
  • Utilize Analytics Platforms: Comfortable using a variety of marketing analytics platforms including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SalesForce, Datorama, Google Data Studio 
  • Vendor Collaboration: Works with 3rd party vendors to set up data feeds and appropriately QA data 
  • Process Improvement: Assist in creating processes and improving existing processes for data creation, capture, aggregation, and QA 

Data Interpretation & Data-Driven Insights:

  • Develop Dashboards: Have deep experience in developing dashboards and translating client needs into visualizations.
  • Implement Measurement Plans: Implement measurement plans by setting up data collection, visualization, reporting, and optimization.
  • Structure Reporting: Create structure/framework for reporting deliverables based on client needs and appropriate KPIs.
  • Provide Insights: Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that directly support marketing leadership decision-making at the brand or portfolio level.

  • Client Interaction: Interact with clients to determine their business needs and how this will translate into deliverables.
  • Create Business Requirements: Assist in creating business requirements based on the assessment of client needs and deliverables with a keen eye for details.

What Makes You A Great Fit
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics.
  • Technology: Expertise in Google Analytics and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bonus Points: For Visualization Platforms, experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization platforms.
  • Advanced Skills in Datorama: Admin or advanced power user capabilities
  • UTM Best Practices: Knowledge and understanding of UTM best practices.
  • Bonus Points: Experience using Adobe Analytics, statistical software (R, SPSS, SAS, STATA), or Python.
