We are looking for reliable and personable individuals to help us to perform basic racquet preparation and maintenance, including stringing and other racquet services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Racquet Service

· Carefully and efficiently install strings according to racquet specifications.

· Identify possible damage or defects to racquets and/or strings and make an assessment of the necessary corrective actions.

· Repair and/or replace accessories as needed.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Other duties deemed necessary to support daily operations of Sports Warehouse.

Work Environment

· This position operates in a fast-paced professional office environment or climate controlled warehouse. This role routinely uses racquet stringing machines and related tools/supplies. The use of standard office equipment, such as computers and telephones may also be required.

Physical Demands

· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time and use hands/fingers while stringing racquets. Employee may be required to handle objects and type on a computer and use phones and computer software to communicate with others to exchange information. This position may require occasionally moving about inside the building. The employee is sometimes required to sit, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or climb.

· The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh less than ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh between 11-20 pounds, and rarely lift and/or move items that weigh between 21-50 pounds.
