A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FOOD SERVICE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The day in the life of a Food Service Technician can change day to day. You often keep busy on daily projects such as preventative maintenance on the building and equipment that we use for our daily operations. Whenever there is a malfunction with anything in our department, you will have to jump in action and resolve the issue. Whenever we upgrade or get new equipment, you are that person that jumps into action for installation. You are basically a Super Hero

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOOD SERVICE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

  • General Knowledge of service equipment repairs, maintenance, and best practice installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating manuals. Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly with little supervision.
  • (Helpful: Commercial Maintenance Experience)
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to do pushing, pulling and bending.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver's License

WORK SCHEDULE

Ocean Lakes Family Campground operates 7 days each week. Employees must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays as well as overtime hours as necessary. Available to take calls on a 24-hour rotation basis. Available to take emergency calls for complex issues.
