SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador who resides in Nassau County, Long Island. Candidates will be expected to conduct samplings at on- and off-premise accounts and at special events, as a support to the Sales Team. Sampling events at on-premise locations (bars, restaurants) will require approaching patrons to sample and promote the featured brand(s). Sampling events at off-premise locations (beer and grocery stores) will require providing samples and suggestive selling to consumers from a designated location within the retail establishment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and interact with guests and account staff in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assess guests needs and preferences, make recommendations, and suggestively sell
  • Check guest identification to verify they are of legal drinking age
  • Follow SMART guidelines for responsible serving
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations and retailer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized station
  • Restock and replenish inventory and supplies

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Outgoing and friendly personality, ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly must be able to retain tasting notes and converse about the various beers we brew
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Ability to lift and move 30lbs unassisted and stand for prolonged periods
  • Will be required to obtain liquor license, SMART training & Beer Server Certification
  • Evening and Weekend work required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older serve alcohol
  • Valid government issued drivers license
  • Must possess a reliable cell phone and vehicle
  • Must be able to update availability to our shared calendar on a bi-weekly basis
  • Craft beer enthusiast or prior industry knowledge/experience a plus
