Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented Tire Technician to join our busy tire shop. As a Tire Technician, you will provide excellent customer service by identifying the needs of our customers and assisting them with selecting the right tires. Youll inspect and install tires and perform other tire-related tasks, such as tire rotation and balancing.

Responsibilities
Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
Inspect vehicle tires for wear and areas for potential failure. Examines the tires tread to determine if they are wearing evenly, checks for debris that has lodged within the treads that pose a puncture threat and runs diagnostic tests to see if the tires are properly balanced and securely attached.
Repair tire if tire does not need replaced. i.e., plugs, patch, valve stems
Rotate tires to ensure even wearing.
Conveys issues to Tire Manager to document in Shop-Ware for customer to approve or deny service recommendations.
Take pictures of scratches, dents or vehicle defects and has Tire Manager text/email customer prior to service performed.
Answer customer inquiries and provide stellar customer service

Qualifications

• Experience removing and installing tires
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
