Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking an itinerant teacher to provide Early Intervention services in Montgomery County, PA.

  • This is a 1099 Independent contracting position, allowing for greater flexibility.
  • PTS provides consistent on-site and off-site mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders.
  • School-Based Academy: We provide the support and community that a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and to be successful.
  • Lending Library: PTS recognizes the additional expenses in providing evaluation for materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapist to borrow as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and implement instruction for eligible preschoolers
  • Develop Individualized Educational Programs
  • Update revisions to IEPs
  • Select suitable materials and instructional techniques
  • Promote expressive and receptive language development
  • Develop, revise, implement and/or monitor student progress on IEP goals
  • Communicate with families and providers in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • PDE certification in Special Education required; PDE certification in Early Childhood (N-3 or PreK-4) preferred
