Northeast Counseling Services currently has a full-time opening in our busy Hazleton Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will provide clinical services to the greater Hazleton area. Full time is preferred but Flexible. Per-Diem hours are available.

The role of the Psychotherapist is to provide traditional, ongoing, intensive, individual, family, marital and group psychotherapy as outlined in a client's treatment plan. A diverse population is served including chronically mentally ill clients and those exhibiting adjustment disorders and other life situation difficulties. The Psychotherapist functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary. This workforce member has access to the complete chart for cases requiring worker's involvement.

This position requires a Master's Degree in a mental health discipline.

  • Vision insurance and short-term/long-term disability insurance is offered at NO COST to the employee.
  • $4000 sign-on bonus (50% granted at 6 months of employment, remainder granted at 1 year of employment.)
  • Added remuneration per year of experience
  • $40/hour per-diem rate
