We are seeking a dependable and driven individual for our Shop.  This person would have the opportunity to enhance their skills and grow within our company.  As a shop helper, your duties would include, but not limited to, assist mechanics with day-to-day operations, organizing and cleaning the shop and yard.  Washing trucks and equipment, inventory control, loading and unloading materials with a forklift, picking up parts and organization of equipment.  We are willing to train the right person who has a thirst for knowledge and displays a positive, can-do attitude that could lead to a promotion within our company.


Union wages + benefits (medical, dental, and vision insurance, pension and paid sick leave)


Working Conditions indoor/outdoor; some local traveling. Exposure to various weather conditions, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials such as solvents, adhesives, paints, hot oil and other chemicals.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience in a shop environment

Forklift

Must have a manual-hand-finger dexterity

Must have eye-hand-foot coordination

Must be able to Lift and transport +50 pounds

Exhibit teamwork

Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Pass a Pre-employment drug test – this includes negative for marijuana


EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED
