limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping, scrubbing

Deep clean equipment (including but not limed to dish washing machine, broiler, grill, flat grill, coolers, vents,

hoods, garbage cans, cooler doors, queen maries, steam tables etc.)

Clean and sanitize walls, sinks and floors. Clean trash bins, compost bins, recycling bins, clean dock, clean ramp

and clean around grease bin.

Removes the waste from all containers, taking it to the dumpster located on the loading dock.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
  • Complete various cleaning tasks in Banquet Prep/Pizza Station, Saucier/Streamer Station, Main Cook Line, Front Area: Expeditor Station, Andiamo, Sports Bar, 2nd Floor East Pantry, 2nd Pantry Hall, and Dock.
  • Washes dishes, scrub pots, and other cooking utensils. Restocks all clean glasses, silverware, and plates.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills or executing special guest requests.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by HPH from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. HPH will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged, or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Completes assigned side work to include cleaning meeting space and storage space, that adhere to standard hotel products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
  • Abides by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Attends all mandatory meetings.
  • Keeps work area clean and organized.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Some work experience in related field preferred. Some hospitality experience preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.

GROOMING/UNIFORMS

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.

NOTICE:

The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
