Required skills, Education, and Experience
  • MT/MLT and 0 to 5+ years of lab experience
  • CVT/RVT/LVT and 1 to 5+ years of lab experience
  • Associates degree with 1 to 5+ years of lab experience OR Bachelors degree with 1 to 5 years of lab experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop and work within a laboratory team.
  • IT and LIS (laboratory information system) experience and general comfort level with
  • computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces.
  • Able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
  • Robust organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced STAT environment.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work within Windows and Laboratory Information
  • System environment.
  • Proficient knowledge in Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis.
  • Experience with 2-3 of the following instruments: Advia 2120i, Immulite 2000xpi,
  • Beckman Coulter chemistry platforms, Clinitek Novus, or Stago STarT.
  • Experience in the veterinary field strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available for evening and weekends.
