Join our team Continued growth and success has opened up the need for operations leadership in our Whitewater, WI location. Lavelle Supervisors are focused on supervising and coordinating activities of employees engaged in their work. Department Supervisors at Lavelle are team-oriented and people-focused. They use demonstrated analysis and problem-solving tools to support the growth and development of their team and meet department or organizational goals.


Work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with standard work; enforcing work rules and safety policies including initiation of disciplinary process and escalating when appropriate.
  • Supervising the daily work of the department or facility, managing direct reports as needed.
  • Cultivating a team atmosphere.
  • Review direct reports or operator performance and coaching for improvement.
  • Managing the tracking, recording and analysis of team KPI's.
  • Working with other Supervisors and Operations Leadership on project work; work will including participating in continuous improvement activities, including project work, FIFI, PDSAs and kaizen events.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 year degree or working toward a degree preferred.
  • 2+ years leadership experience; 3+ years manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
